Jeff Pigott & Julia Warin were selected as the artists for the Welsh end of Stalls & Traders and created an installation entitled Kiosk for Newport Indoor Market. Kiosk consisted of a bright blue booth crammed full with products either created, changed or found by the artists. These products often parodied existing products and humorously played with political ideas including those relevant to the current financial climate, cuts, the recession and 'hard times'.

One of the new ranges created for the Newport installation was the Recession range which included a screwdriver advertised as a belt tightener, pliers re-packaged as penny pinchers and secateurs labelled as public service cutters.

Many pieces played with ideas of consumerism and how we can be seduced through advertising. For example used tea bags were repackaged as DIY compost starter kits, along with the instructions for their use and empty water bottles were marketed as 'Kool Water' Refill Bottles.
