Maria Teresa Gavazzi is a visual artist but also produces interactive and participatory projects. In each area of her work, she is intrigued by the small things of everyday life and recurring fixations of modern society, which she tries to recreate in a metaphorical world of her own. Bizarre humour runs through all Gavazzi's work and her paintings, photographs and performances all seek to catch a fleeting moment of our life.
